ADHD Coaching

Workplace strategy coaching helps remove barriers by offering practical strategies for challenges faced by neurodivergent people at work. Neurodivergence includes conditions like ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and Dyscalculia. Many workplaces are not designed to accommodate these needs. Stigma can also make it harder to seek the support you deserve.

“Work can be especially challenging when your needs aren’t understood or supported. Bias, unfair processes, and stressful environments often add to the struggle. If you've recently discovered that you're Autistic, have ADHD, or both, you've likely already encountered the stigma that comes with disclosing your differences.”

Coaching can improve your well-being at work

It’s unfortunate, but studies show that neurodivergent people often face serious barriers in employment. For example, challenges include mismatches between skills and job roles, biases from neurotypical colleagues, and unfair interview processes. Additionally, a preference for meaningful work leaves only 21.7% of Autistic people employed. Similarly, ADHD individuals experience comparable struggles, such as being 60% more likely to lose their jobs or being 24% more likely to take long-term sick leave due to stress. These statistics motivated me to develop Workplace Strategy Coaching for neurodivergent people. Here’s how I can help…

Mitigate the Risk of Burnout:
Living with Autism or ADHD in a world that misunderstands neurodivergence affects mental and emotional well-being. You might experience anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, burnout, social isolation, or disconnection. Workplace Strategy Coaching helps address these challenges by offering practical strategies to address your needs. It supports creating sustainable routines, managing stress, and building confidence in your strengths.

Improve Communication:
Communication and misunderstanding are common challenges neurodivergent people face at work. These issues relate to the “double empathy problem”, described by researcher Damian Milton. This concept highlights how understanding often breaks down between neurodivergent and neurotypical people. A coach with a similar neurotype can help address these challenges. This approach provides practical support to improve workplace interactions.

Build Confidence and Set Boundaries:
Building confidence and setting boundaries is another challenge many neurodivergent people face at work. Without clear boundaries, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or overextend yourself. Managing your energy effectively becomes harder in these situations. Coaching can help you identify where limits are needed and how to communicate them confidently. This ensures you manage your resources well and meet goals without sacrificing your well-being.
