Terms of Service

As a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner, I adhere to the NCPS Code of Ethical Practice, which is available upon request or on the NCPS website.

  1. Confidentiality: Sessions are confidential, with the following exceptions:
    1. Supervision: As part of my ethical practice, I engage in regular clinical supervision to ensure a high standard of care. I may discuss client work in supervision but will not use any identifying details.
    2. Risk of Harm: If I believe you or someone else is at serious risk, I may need to break confidentiality to prevent harm. I will always try to discuss this with you first where possible.
    3. Legal Obligation: If required by a court order, I must disclose information.
  2. Records: I keep brief written notes of sessions, as required by professional and legal standards. These records are stored securely in compliance with GDPR. You have the right to access them upon request.
  3. Complaints: If you are unhappy with my service, I encourage you to discuss it with me first. If this does not resolve the issue, you have the right to file a complaint with my professional body, the NCPS.
